Cookie Policy
Which cookies and browser storage BigStats uses, and who receives the data.
Last updated August 9, 2026
1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Russell Todd Fletcher (trading as BigStats.email) uses cookies and similar browser storage on bigstats.email and in the BigStats dashboard. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes the wider set of personal data we process.
2. What we use
BigStats uses only strictly necessary cookies and local storage. We do not run advertising networks, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party marketing analytics.
- Authentication: a session token stored by our backend auth provider so you stay signed in between page loads. Persists until you sign out or the session expires.
- Preferences: local storage entries that remember your selected workspace, cluster, saved-view choices and your cookie banner acknowledgement. Persists until you clear your browser storage.
- Security and integrity: short-lived values used to protect sign-in and form submissions against abuse.
- Checkout: when you start a purchase, our payment provider Paddle sets its own cookies on its checkout to process the payment and prevent fraud.
3. Who receives this data
The recipients of cookie and browser-storage data are the same as the recipients listed in our Privacy Policy: our application and database hosting provider, our transactional email provider, and — for purchases only — Paddle.com Market Limited, the Merchant of Record for all BigStats orders. Paddle sets cookies on its own checkout as an independent controller under its privacy notice at paddle.com/legal/privacy. No cookie data is sold or shared with advertisers.
4. Your choices
Because we set only strictly necessary cookies, there are no optional or marketing cookies to turn off in BigStats. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time, but blocking them will prevent you from signing in and using the dashboard. Paddle's checkout cookies can be managed from Paddle's own consent controls when a checkout is open.
5. Changes and contact
If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them. Questions about this policy:
